I had the pleasure to be part of Actors East Shakespeare Scene night Friday 11th Feb. An evening of work – in – progress performances of scenes and monologues from his plays. The evening was arranged and curated by AE stalwart Dominic Morgan who gave a rousing Richard 111 opening speech. It was a delight to be in a room full of actors ready and willing to bare their souls and receive audience feedback. For my small part I closed the evening with Act 4 scene 1 from The Tempest, Prospero: “ These our actors as I for told you were all spirits and have melted into air……….
